• The Bernina Zigzag Hemmer foot number 61 is a practical presser foot that lets you accomplish several steps in a single sewing operation. Use this foot in particular to hem fine fabrics. When sewing with Zigzag Hemmer #61 the fabric is fed into a scroll, which turns the edge under twice. This prevents the fabric from fraying later. The guide holds together the turned hem until it reaches the needle. The fabric edge is sewn with a zigzag stitch into a narrow, 2mm hem
